| Description | We are currently recruiting for Class 2 Drivers to work as Street Cleanser’s for Birmingham City Council. There are four sites, all of which are within 4 miles of Birmingham Central.
This job provides excellent working conditions and all PPE provided and paid for by Birmingham City Council. Some handballing is involved; this is loading and helping where required but nothing too heavy. The vehicles that are currently being used are Flat Beds, and Pick Up’s with some light Trailer work, up to 10 Tonne, for which specialised full training is given. A Digital Tachograph is not required as all the vehicles are Government Log Book and, no previous experience is necessary either. The current rate of pay is £8.29 per hour. Overtime is available at time and a half after 37 hours, and on Saturday’s. Sunday’s and Bank Holiday’s are paid at double time. The working week is Monday – Friday, 7:30am – 16:00pm. Interested?
